Sundays at The Village
10:10am and 5:10pm
The Village feels more like coming into a home than walking into a venue. You’ll likely smell food cooking before you find a seat.
When you arrive
Come on in. Grab coffee, check the fridge for drinks, and make your way into the big living room that also serves as our sanctuary. We keep things simple and leave room to breathe.
How the service flows
- Call to worship and a song to begin.
- Confession, another song, and Scripture.
- Announcements, then the sermon.
- Space for questions after the sermon.
- Four songs as we respond together.
Kids belong here
We love children. Babies make noise. Kids move around. That’s all part of life together. If you’d like to use our kids spaces, here’s how it works:
- 0–2 may head to the nursery. (After the first two songs)
- 3–8 start in the service and are invited forward for a short time.
- After practicing the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, or the Values of the Village, they head to class.
- You’re also welcome to keep your kids with you the entire time.
Communion and prayer
During the songs, followers of Jesus are invited to receive Communion. We also keep a simple space called the Healing Chair. If you need prayer, you can sit down and someone will come pray with you.
