The next swing dance at the Armory Park event center will be on May 28 from 7-11pm. It is a smoke-free, alcohol-free dance. There will be a beginner's lesson from 7-8 pm followed by the dance from 8-11 pm. There will be a band playing from 8-11 to accompany the dance.
I will not be there. I have been invited to attend my cousin's graduation/party that night in Lexington, Kentucky. I will be making flight arrangements as soon as I'm given the best date and time that my mom's family there will be available to welcome me at the LEX airport. I'm not sure how long my vacation visit will be: two weeks, three weeks, a month ... I don't know I'll let you know when I reserve tickets for the flight.
I hope some of you can go to the dance. I guarantee you will have fun. The bands that play at these are really good. The cost of the dance is between $5-$7 including both the lesson and the dance itself.
