Something Interesting
As some of you know my favorite pastime over the past 6 years now has been swing dancing. I've had 4 or 5 great instructors along the way teach me various styles. The weekend of February 29 - March 2 I had the pleasure of meeting a pioneer of the dance; that gentleman's name is Frankie Manning.
Frankie Manning is now 93 yrs young. It was a true joy and such amazing fun to be among the crowd of 400-500 that came to be in the Phoenix area that weekend to be taught by the pioneer himself and to be see the joy in his face of having us join him in the dance that he loves after all this time.
