Stuff you should know
IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE – The drumming circle has been moved from Friday the 16th to Saturday the 17th. You will have an opportunity to sign-up on Sunday. If you are a member of the Village, or someone who wants to be a member – please come. We will be discussing the budget, the building, Easter, the missional church base on the wireless networking, etc. The meeting begins at 6:00pm. Food provided.
1) Saturday) Feb. 3 (6:00pm): Movie Night and Discussion at the Crawford’s House. They will be showing Luther: A biopic which examines Protestant reformer Martin Luther's personal battles, and his transformation from a simple monk into leader of the Protestant movement--and, in the eyes of the Vatican, an ecclesiastical terrorist. 2) Pilgrim Groups – If you sign-up for the pilgrim groups, you will receive a booklet on Sunday and your leader will be in contact with you soon.
Thoughts for Eric
I have a small problem, I can never figure out how to end phone calls. Most of my phone conversations seem to end with . . . bye – bye – o.k., see ya – alright – take it easy . . . hang up.
I’m sure that there is some painful psychological reason for my phone call ending disability, but I’m just stuck with those long drawn-out strange ending. So, if you find yourself caught in my web of uncomfortable -- see ya, bye, o.k. traps – just hang up on me.
The Super Bowl has always conflicted with Vespers. This means I haven’t seen the last 5 Super Bowls. Alas, I don’t really care anyway – the Cleveland Browns and the Cardinals are not playing, and they never will – so the Super Bowl just doesn’t matter to me ;+)
