The Village: Sept 15, 2004
The Muse: TEP said,on Sunday evening, that under no circumstances would they shut the electricity off at the Muse. Birthday Celebration: Alec Tarango (who will be four) and Ariana Rodriquez (who will be five) are celebrating their birthdays jointly on Oct. 2. Their Parents would like to invite the entire Village to the big party - mark it on your calendar!! A sign-up sheet will be passed around on Sunday to give them some indication as to how many people are coming. Saturday Romans Class Dates: Begins Oct 9, Oct. 23, Nov. 6, Nov 20, Dec. 4. The class will most likely start at 2:30pm.Readers: Sue Cepin - Ps. 30 Joel - Song. Children Vespers: Emily Lewis and Mike Bapties - Joel Cepin Overflow. Celtic Prayer: The next Celtic Prayer will takes place on Thurs. Sept. 16, - 7:30pm at the Muse. At Celtic Prayer, you will be given the opportunity to be silent, meditate on scripture, pray silently, think about Celtic Prayers, look at the Art, and pray for your community with you brothers and sisters. Please Come!!! Tuesday Bible Study at The McConnells 6:00pm Call Jeff for details (5149151) Mission: If you are a member of the Village, you are a missionary. You have a place of mission. Your mission may be your family, your neighbors, your school, or your work. Each of these spaces have something in common - they are made up of people with whom you live life with. Begin to analyze these spaces as spaces of mission. Think about the culture in each space. How can you best express the Gospel in each of your mission spaces? Pray for the people that you are a missionary to. Debrief with your fellow Village missionaries, and ask them to pray for your friends etc. eric
