What's happening?: This Friday the men's Smackdown takes place at 6:30pm. Rod has a cool project planned for everyone. Don't worry, there will be very little smacking. If you can make it, please come. It is great opportunity for you to get to know the other guys in the community. Directions: Take Kino Parkway South. Turn Left on St. Jerome(St. Jerome is south of Silverlake). Turn left on St. Michael. Joel's address is 1976 S. St. Michael Dr. If you get lost, call 4448810(Eric cell). Note: Dinner is provided, please bring 3 dollars.
Wednesday dinner and Discussion. Sept 14, 2005 is the first Dinner and Discussion night with Eric. We will begin dinner at 6:00pm Sharp. It is important that you sign up on Sunday or call me on Monday - if you are planning on coming. We will discuss some of the Village Values: Community, Creativity, etc. This all takes place at the Seneca house: 5701 E. Seneca Street.
Women: (1) This fall Julie Brunson is starting a Sexual Abuse Healing Community for Women. If you are interested in being part of such a group, please talk to Julie. This group will start Oct 23, 2005. (2) Both Karen Bradley and Emily McConnell are planning on providing women with some other community opportunities. These will not be very structured times or announced at Vespers on Sunday. If you are interested, talk to one of them. If you don't know who they are, ask me and I will point you in the right direction.
