Subject: High and Low

If you have not had dinner at my house with the hole Seneca House clan, you may not know about high and low. Elliott loves to go around and have people say what their high for the day was and what their low for the day was. It is humors and engaging all at once. I have to say that I thank God for my high today. My low is indescribable and confidential, but my High was to do Elliott and my bed time routine. The crazy pick up of the six year old and swing him around and try to throwing on the bed, but he is still attached to me because he has his arms wrapped around my neck so tight that I end up stock to him on the bed and then we play this game that I cannot get out of the Elliott grip to escape his room. I love that he is a snuggler even still at 6. So as I cry for what I see in my day as my low; God gives me the grace to have my high of this gracious family of 8 years that are not my blood biologically, but are just as dear to me as my imagined own child. The good news is that he actually fell asleep pretty well tonight and did not play knock knock on our shared wall right above my head - Thanks God.
