In a few minutes, we will be leaving to pick up our first foster child...a 9 mo little girl. We were not quite prepared for one that big, but are excited and I am shaking!
Suzi-thanks for the last minute help so that we could accomodate this little bundle of joy!

Ryan and Andrea, congrats! I know that you are already great parents. My kids said so. That, and I've seen it, too. Thanks again for hosting and parenting Fiona and Timmy in our absence. I feel like I got a bonus: I already got to meet your little sweety. For the rest of you out there --- she's adorable!!!

With being a new mom to a 8 1/2 mo old, my body is tired and I am using her nap times to nap also. I haven't been on the internet in a couple of days which doens't usually happen.
So...
yes, you will/did meet her tonight at church.
thanks, I hope we are good parent. There is definetly learning to go along with it especially when jumping in at 8 1/2 mo. She and we are doing great!
She is beautiful!
We enjoyed Fionna and Timmy too and are glad they had fun.
thanks all for the assistance so far, specifically for Kim for lending a hand with Fionna and Timmy Thursday afternoon as we were fending for our little one. The Senecans for fielding calls re: fevers, feeding fingerfoods, etc. Blanca for babysitting this coming Wednesday. all of you for the shower gifts (thank yous still to come) that helped Baby M settle in well. And whoever else I may have missed. You guys are great. She and we are lucky to have you!
