Subject: Perceptions of a fellow Michigander

Responses Suki: Yay! (6/18/08) Responses (sorted by date) Suki: Yay! (6/18/08) So last night we had one of our labor classes... David was flying home from Haiti, so my friend Hannah went with me. We are nearing the end of this intensive 12 week course and so we had the enjoyment of hearing birth stories from other Moms and Dads who took the class right before us. Well, anyway...one was saying how she brought Nora Jones to listen to during delivery. So I was talking to Hannah on the way home, and I said that I wondered if I should bring Nora Jones or who I might want to listen to during the whole labor and delivery thing...And Hannah looked at me and said, "No, I think you should bring your music from The Village because you love it, it calms you, it's worshipping God, and it's the familiar voices of your friends." And of course, I couldn't agree more. PS David is home safely...he arrived around 11 PM last night. Thank you for your prayers. We appreciate them. And the Moms and Dads brought their babies and I got to hold a 3 week old! That was great. :) Now, if August could hurry up and get here!!!!
