Hi Everyone! As I mentioned in church on Sunday, Emily McConnell and I are planning a garage sale. The idea is that it will be run by Village kids (not necessarily all of them, just the ones who want to) and the proceeds will go to the building fund. The purpose of the sale is so that Village kids can contribute to raising money for our own building.
We are accepting donations for the sale. If it is big stuff, you can bring it by the McConnells. They have a place to store it that is out of the rain. For smaller stuff you can bring it to church. Feel free to give us "junk" - broken furniture, old clothes (as long as they are clean), books, old toys that may or may not work, random plates, etc. etc. We will donate or appropriately dispose of anything that is left over.
The sale will be on a Saturday, either July 26th or August 2nd.

Rain is strongly forcast for Saturday, so we may have to postpone the yard sale. So if it is raining, you can assume that the sale is delayed. You know what this means, right? Another week for all of you to clean out another closet and donate more stuff!!

The yard sale is on! Come on down to 4842 E. 28th Street and support our kids. buy some lemonade, soda, cookies.... any maybe even some crafts by kids, furniture, clothes, toys, kitchen stuff, computer stuff, etc.
