I just started getting Discover Magazine, which I love. I received it last year as a gift and decided to renew the subscription since I like it so much. It has lots of interesting science articles covering a wide variety of areas. Latest articles include: Why your Brain Loves Math, Data Pirates, The Future of Food, Lichen, Darwin at 200, Stem Cell Cures Finally get Real, etc. There is plenty in here to get you thinking, and probably get you wondering about ethics, the reliability of scientific research, the amazing-ness of nature, etc. Anyways, I would like to pass the magazine on to one or more people after I read it, since I think it is too interesting to throw away. Respond here or let me know if you would like to get the magazine after I am done. If more than one person/family wants it then we can pass it around.
