I'm hanging out with one of my old roomates from college today. He's asking a lot of questions about God right now so I could use some prayer support. He grew up Catholic, couldn't hack it anymore and is now trying to come back to the Church. The hard part for him is seeing God through the church sometimes and his very rigid view of God doesn't help things either. So please ask God to "enlighten the eyes of his heart. That he might know the hope to which he's called." And pray for me that I could discern what to really talk about and what to not worry about. Thanks everybody!

His name is Fig. Thanks for praying. It was went pretty well I'd say. We had a good time talking and I think are at least getting down to the crux of things.
It's like I'm becoming a travelling pastor. It's great.

I'm sure your conversations with him have impacted him in a positive way. He is already interested in seeking God and a church. God's grace now is hopefully more apparent to him, and His truth that you shared with Fig will not return void, but will accomplish His good purpose. Way to go, man!
