Subject: Lost Letters
Ahh yes, my first blog as a Tucson resident! fun.
(This was also written, actually finished, on the Rincon Mountains backpacking trip)
-ryan the new one.
Sometimes when we meet
We are as two lovers.
As close to me as my next breath;
The prescence of you moves me to tears.
Other times it's as if I'm in a far-off country
And I'm longing for you.
We write letters
(But yours always get lost in the mail)
My hand tires of writing with no response
Yet I keep writing.
Only to find, years later,
After I'd given up all hope,
A recovered bag full of your hand written notes. |
