Ok guys as we move forward with the planning of this thing we need to organize. I can think of 4 main area's where we need help so we can form committee's that can communicate with each other and get this thing going

1 Entertainment. We're looking at having a 3 hour even so we could have probably around 3-5 'acts' within that time. I don't have any definite acts that have said yes but I have some maybe's If you are a musician or know a musician who wants to perform please let me know. If the event runs longer I am sure that won't be a huge problem

2 auction items. We need stuff for folks to bid on. Restaurant certificates, services, merchandise. Anything you can think of that people would want to bid on. If you own a business, know people who own a business, are crafty or good in the kitchen then let me know and I'll put you on the auction committee. I could really use a couple folks calling up local places and letting them know Sean's Story and asking if they'd like to donate to the auction. If you can help me here please let me know.

3 Medial relations. I need a press release and I need people who know how to get the press release out to do so. I would love for this even to get the attention of local media, newspapers, radio and TV. My mom has made a fliyer that I hope to make available to you all so you can print it and go around town asking businesses if you can put them up. Please let me know if you can help in any of this.

4 event volunteers We'll need help setting up, tearing down and during the event as well. I'll need some folks to agree to keep an eye on the silent auction to make sure no items disappear. I may need folks to volunteer to sit at a table and collect direct donations. I could also use someone with a great camera to take pictures. Let me know if you can help

I am planning a tentative meeting at The Village Church on Thursday evening, Eric needed to check his schedule but he figured this would be a good day. There is a lot we can do before than to. Let me know how you can help and I'll promise to put you to work. I appreciate you all, your thoughts and prayers and your support as I move in faith to make this happen. I know Sean and Samantha appreciate and love you all too. Lets make it happen!!

Mike
