Hey everybody.
I repeatedly forget to mention my barbershop quartet gigs that are open to the public...so I'm mentioning one now.
It's really not a "Sonoran Sound" gig; it's a "Tucson Sunshine Chorus" holiday show and my quartet (Sonoran Sound) will do three songs near the front end of the show. It happens at Rincon HS this coming Sunday afternoon, beginning at 3:30pm. My guess is tickets cost somewhere around $12 (all going to the Chorus)at the door.
In related news, Jesse has joined Arizona Jazz Academy curriculum; he'll be part of the jazz combo (small group). There is also a 'big band' jazz group, and they're all doing a show on Sunday afternoon, Dec 16 beginning 3:00pm (two-hour show)to be held at the Berger Center (at the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind). I have tickets ($20 normal people; $15 students and seniors) if you're interested. |
