I thought I might try to recreate some of the conversation going on in the St Joe's waiting room last Monday at 5:30 a.m.
Julie (laughing sympathetically at my sleep deprived behavior): "Karen, I like you like this. It's like you're drunk."
Patti (trying to be helpful): "Why don't you lie down on the chairs without arms?"
Karen (proving Julie's earlier point): "What chairs without any arms?"
Patti, Cheryl & Julie, groaning: "Ummmm...the ones you're sitting on right now."
I tried lying down then....(see photo) Comfortable? Yeah, if you like the feeling of wood grinding into your neck. A Zen self-denial training exercise, perhaps. Not good for catnapping or delivery-waiting, though. |
