While I was visiting Sarah and her new baby over spring break, she told me about a wedding she'd attended of new Iowa friends she'd made, one of only two outings she'd been on since the baby was born in February.
Now, less than a month later, the 30-something groom has died from a sudden stroke. The stroke hit his brain stem, so he was on life support a couple of days before they took him off of it on Saturday.
Sarah's friend's name is Jennifer. Sarah has asked for prayer for her, and please pray for Sarah, too, as she looks on all this while she's more emotionally vulnerable herself. |
