Scott, a groundskeeper at my middle school, is at UMC trauma, critically injured with burns from a house fire early this morning. Please pray for his medical treatment---for his survival and relief of physical pain--and for his spiritual protection, too.

Subject: He didn't make it

We heard from our principal this morning that--despite being stable (critical but stable condition) for a day--Scotty died last night.

Death is a large, looming shadow in my world this year. I know God is here with us. I hope Scotty is with him now.
