On Wednesday, October 12, we're playing Heart-Five, 61 East Congress, just east of Stone. We'll probably start to play between 10:00-10:30 and are planning a 45-minute set. Another band named Tryst will be playing, too, and the cover charge will be a few bucks. Bribery of sorts: the first friend to represent will receive one of my free drink tokens (the only payment I personally receive for playing--any other monies will cover the cost of two band rehearsals at Jim's, if we're lucky...); I'm enjoying the other drink myself. Please come if you can deal with the hour ;-)

I will be representin'. (Does anyone know what that means except me?)
I will be headed there after our Wednesday Swingcats lesson/dance at the UA. The lesson/dance is at the Bio Sciences West building which is on the north side of the 6th St. garage east of Park Ave. The lesson will be from 7-8p and the dance from 8-10ish. I will probably be bringing some Swingcats with me to the show. Thanks for the post.
The dance will be in Room 301 of the Bio Sciences West building. Try to get there for the lesson, otherwise you might have to walk around to the back entrance to get in through the room's back door. Dress is casual and is free your first time.
