Movie or Group Fun Type People:
Anyone interested in going in a group to see the new Star Trek movie? I don't think we've done this since Lord of the Rings came out. Star Trek opens starting at 7p on Thursday May 7 at Park Place or El Con. I don't have any firm preferences on a time, location, or Thurs v. Fri option, but thought a group trip would be fun. Maybe an El Con showing with a post-movie In-N-Out meal? Post here your thoughts.

Hi all...Cheryl, we will not be meeting that night--it is a married group night, but maybe you have childcare? Also, I love your graphics, Julie! So fun that you are arranging this! I'd be totally game, but we have married group!!! :( And Cori, my boys would totally be aghast to hear that you haven't seen any star wars! Maybe you can come for a marathon sometime! We have all the movies and the cartoon clone wars too! I can totally understand missing star trek, but star wars is BEYOND my comprehension! I guess that means I'm getting old!

I imagine it will be a huge crowd for the first showing, Thursday night. After hours of crowd control, I doubt I want to tackle another one on a school night.... we might be up for Friday p.m., though, if there's a Friday contingency forming. Or...more frugal...anyone for the matinee Saturday?

Subject: Clarification

Just to clarify (for anyone who's still reading), the Marrieds' Group is not meeting this Thursday. April was a 5 Thursday month, so the rotation shifted a little. That puts the Women's Group & Ephesians study this week, since they meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays.
