Personally what I want more than anything else is for everyone's prayers. Last night at Art Night, I was touched to find out that Ryan has already prayed for us as we get ready to leave for Zambia tomorrow. I am struck by the magnitude of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa. The following information is taken from a web site of the Bureau of Public Affairs, U.S. Department of State updated April, 2004. http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/2359.htm "Nearly 1 million Zambians are HIV positive or have AIDS. An estimated 100,000 will die in 2004. Over a half million Zambian children have been orphaned. " When I read these statistics, I get a sick, overwhelming feeling in my gut. I turn to God for His peace and comfort. May we feel Him with us during our stay at the House of Moses.
